I considered giving 4 stars, but let’s face it, most of these furniture kits that need assembly typically have some sort of problem or another. With as many pieces as this desk has (mostly hardware), you’d think there’d be a screw or dowel missing, or maybe a hole drilled incorrectly. I didn’t discover the only flaw with this set until the very end when I was putting the handle on the door. It turns out that the threads in one of the holes of the handle for the door was not threaded. Fortunately

For a budget desk, its a great value! I took me about an hour and a half to assemble, which is not bad at all. No issue with the instructions. It feels like a little higher build quality than what you often get online for furniture: definitely not handcrafted from amazing wood, but still sturdy and can tolerate use on a daily basis. The desk was the perfect size for our needs. It is very time consuming to put together but it was not difficult; as long as you can follow the pictures. There is good value in this desk but I would not recommend this for someone who gets frustrated putting things together. All pieces fit nicely together and the end product was great. Two of us old people took 3 and 1/2 hours to put together.
The desk is very nice and sturdy, first 4 pieces for the drawers for some reason aren’t labeled so be careful and make sure to get them right so you don’t have to start over. Putting the desk together took me about 2-3 hours but overall not too difficult.
