The stainless steel is sturdy and cleans up easily - no rusting after weeks of use. It handled my dense sourdough dough like a champ, mixing it thoroughly without tiring my arms out too much. My one minor critique? The loop at the end can be a bit tricky to clean by hand, but I usually just pop it in the dishwasher.
