I finally decided to try this Thermalright Assassin X120 after my old CPU cooler started making some worrying noises. I wanted a reliable solution that wouldn't break the bank, and boy, was I pleased with this one! The installation was surprisingly easy for a first-time builder like me; no fussing around with multiple screws or confusing directions.

One thing that really impressed me was how quietly it runs. Even under heavy load, my system remained almost whisper-quiet – a far cry from the jet-engine effect I'd been dealing with before. The cooler itself is beefy and sturdy, giving me peace of mind about its durability.

On the flip side, the fan does look quite large next to my other components. It's not unattractive per se, but it definitely sticks out more than I'd like in my otherwise sleek build. Still, aesthetics are low on my priority list when compared to performance and noise levels.

Overall, I'm thrilled with my purchase. The Thermalright Assassin X120 has given my rig a much-needed cooling upgrade without causing any major headaches during installation.
