I needed something that could handle daily use on our icy walkway and steps. The Snow Joe Enviro Blend seemed promising with its eco-friendly approach. After three weeks of use, I'm impressed how these green-coated crystals melt ice quickly even when it's below freezing. They're easier on boots than rock salt too, which is a plus for my family.

However, the bag could be a bit bigger for the price. It's 50 lbs but feels slightly lighter compared to other deicers I've used. Nevertheless, this melt has become our go-to, making those early morning slips less likely.
