I chose the Ring Spotlight Cam because I already am using a Ring doorbell cam, and it has worked well. I am using the Spotlight Cam to view our backyard, so we have views of both front and back now. I chose the battery-operated model so it would be easier to move it around and select the best location. Linking the Spotlight Cam to my Ring app was easy. Setting up a perimeter for it was easy, too. And it does a good job of detecting motion, from small animals to people.The only issue I had w

The Camera itself was good just had problems with the solar panel did not work after the next day but ring had excellent customer service and gave me a chime which works great and was easy to setup
