Easy to use. The lid is used for a measuring cup. I put 2 “cups” of popcorn in the glass bottom put the lid back on then microwave for 3 minutes. I get tasty, no oil, popcorn that is fluffy and tasty. I’ve used the lid with butter which I guess is supposed to drip down but I prefer to spray a bit of olive oil on the popcorn and add salt and brewer’s yeast. Enjoy the ease, the popcorn and easy cleanup. A winner. Great gift too.
Works perfectly! I used Orville R. kernels. Super easy to hand wash/clean up. Don't overfill, as it will burn. Use the recommended “two lidfuls” or maybe slightly less - makes a LOT. Just experiment. Recommend!

The handle doesn't get hot so it's easy to take out and the smaller size is the perfect size for my microwave. I don't know if the large one would be too tight of a fit.The popcorn pops well but you do have to keep an eye on it

A couple reasons for bad results popping corn. The service life of a microwave is 5 to 10 years depending on how much it's used, the length of cook time and its Megatron quality. As one ages, it slowly loses power, thus eventually lousy popcorn results. The moisture necessary in the kernel to pop (explode) the corn has dissipated with old popcorn. To compensate, extending the microwave time can then then burn the corn before it's popped.I have been adding 25-30g avocado (healthy) oil in with the
