Not gonna lie, I almost didn't buy this. At $170, I was worried it'd be another overhyped kitchen gadget. But after three weeks of chopping, dicing, and slicing, I'm impressed. The balance is perfection - not too heavy, not too light. It's like an extension of my hand.

My one gripe? The blade's edge does dull quicker than expected for the price. I've had cheaper knives keep their edge longer. But when it comes to comfort and control, this Wüsthof chef's knife is worth every penny.
