Our Experience

I was skeptical at first about buying 'Wicked' on Blu-ray given its age and the fact that I already owned it on DVD. But I wanted to upgrade my collection and see how it looked in HD. Well, let me tell you, I was blown away by the quality. The colors are vibrant, and the details are crisp - it's like watching a brand new movie. The performance by Kristin Chenoweth as Glinda is still absolutely enchanting after all these years, and seeing her interact with Elphaba in such high definition made their chemistry even more palpable. However, I must admit that there were moments where the camera angles during musical numbers felt a bit static, but it's a minor critique given the overall fantastic experience of this Blu-ray version. It's been three weeks since I bought it, and I've already watched it twice - that's how much I'm enjoying my purchase!
