Bought because we trust the Cuisinart name and products, and this grinder has not disappointed, love the smell of fresh ground coffee beans and coffee. So easy to use and clean up and store away. Solid little grinder, works great nice new addition to our Cuisinart collection

I drink a lot of coffee and it keeps working. It grinds the coffee very nicely. I know it says run for 10 seconds to fully grind the coffee but it does it faster then that.

I've had this grinder a few times, and the plastic cover pieces wear eventually and won't fit into the motor neatly to start it. I decided to get a different grinder this time, Krups - and it was a big mistake. That had a nice motor and seemed like it wouldn't break - but hardly any coffee came out when I turned it upside down; it had so many ridges and parts in the metal that it trapped a lot of coffee and I had to work hard with the brush to get the coffee out. This is a great little coffee grinder..I got confused about what to buy when I read reviews saying that grinders they bought would just die.....but, once I thought about it, I understood....any small appliance can only run so long....I have a small food processor that's like that.....I know that when I start to smell, even a little bit, of burnt rubber, I need to stop using it....grinding large amounts of coffee beans in a short period could tax a small appliance...but, I grind beans for my Fren

I bought this grinder 15 YEARS ago and it has just quit working! I'd say that's value for my money. I did not find it hard to clean. Just a quick rinse under running warm water and dried with a paper towel and it was good to go. Consistent results throughout its life. Purchasing another.
