Not gonna lie, I almost didn't buy this Wen planer due to its price point - it seemed too good to be true. But after three weeks of use, I'm impressed. The 8-amp motor handles hardwoods like a charm, making quick work of rough planks for my deck project.

I particularly liked the depth adjustment knob; it's smooth and precise, allowing me to get just the right thickness without needing shims. My only minor critique? The dust collection could be better; I ended up using an attachment vacuum to keep my workspace clean. Overall though, this little planer punches well above its weight class - a steal at under sixty bucks!
