The specs caught my attention because PUR Gum claimed to be aspartame-free and 100% xylitol, which I was eager to try after reading about xylitol's dental benefits. After a week of testing, I found the spearmint flavor quite authentic and satisfyingly intense - a pleasant surprise in a market often dominated by artificial tasting gums.

However, while the texture started off pleasingly chewy, it became somewhat chalky towards the end of each piece. This wasn't enough to deter me from finishing them, but it did make me wish for slightly more consistency throughout chewing. Overall, PUR Gum lived up to its xylitol promise, making it a healthier alternative I'd consider repurchasing despite the minor textural quirk.
