The specs caught my attention because these NORTIV boots claimed to be both waterproof and insulated, crucial for my upcoming winter hikes. After three weeks of testing, I found them to live up to their promises. The 200g Thermolite insulation kept my feet warm even in subzero temperatures, and the waterproof leather upper effectively repelled snow and rain. However, while the boots provided excellent traction on icy paths with their deep lugs, I noticed a slight squeak when walking on hard surfaces, which might be attributable to the boot's internal construction. Overall, these are robust, reliable boots that have proven themselves in harsh conditions, making them an excellent choice for anyone planning winter hikes or trudging through snowy terrain.
