Our Experience

We go through knives quickly in our house, what with all the peeling, chopping, and slicing that happens on a daily basis. I was tired of having to replace dull blades every few months, so I decided to splurge a little on this Matsato Chef Knife. It's been a week now, and I've already noticed a difference.

I love how sharp it is – I can slice through vegetables like butter. I didn't realize how much effort I was putting into my prep work until I started using this knife. It's made meal times less stressful, which is a big deal in our busy household.



My only minor critique is that the handle feels a bit too thin for my hands. After prolonged use, it starts to feel uncomfortable. But considering how well it cuts and the price point, I can't complain too much. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. It's already become one of our most-used kitchen tools.
