I finally decided to try this Giant Bean dollhouse furniture set after my daughter's constant hints about wanting a more 'grown-up' playtime experience. At $34, it was a bit of a splurge, but I was impressed with the quality when it arrived. The wooden pieces are sturdy and well-finished, giving it a classy feel that makes me think it'll last longer than her previous plastic toys.

My favorite detail has to be the little touches like the working kitchen faucet and the teeny-tiny throw pillows for the couch - they really make the set feel authentic. However, I did find that some of the smaller pieces (like the toilet seat) were a tad too small for her tiny hands to grasp easily. But overall, she's been absolutely delighted with it, playing with it every day since we got it.

It's not just a toy; it's become part of our home decor now, and I'm glad I took the leap to buy it.
