This battery base does what it says. I get several hours of music at high volume per charge. One thing that I wish were better is that the echo dot is not firmly attached to the battery base. Others I've seen in the past had "fingers" that would securely wrap around the round echo. I had one like this and unfortunately dropped it... Still, this is good value.
