The specs caught my attention because they promised a mattress that balances support and comfort for growing children. After testing the EGOHOME 5-inch Twin Mattress for almost a month, I found it to be quite comfortable, thanks to its 3-layer memory foam construction. The top layer with green tea gel infusion keeps things cool even during warm nights, which was a pleasant surprise. It's firm enough to support my active kid, yet soft enough for him not to complain about backaches in the morning.

However, one minor critique I have is that the mattress arrived slightly off-gassing, as expected from new memory foam products. This lasted only a few days with adequate ventilation, but it might be worth considering if you're sensitive to such smells.
