I wasn't expecting much at this price point, but the Emerson MW7601SL has been a pleasant surprise. It's sleek and modern, fitting nicely into my small kitchen. I've been using it daily for everything from reheating leftovers to popping popcorn. The 10 power levels are handy; I appreciated being able to dial in just the right heat for defrosting my bagels.

One minor critique - the interior light could be a bit brighter. It's not an issue during the day, but at night I find myself leaning in to see if my food is done. Otherwise, it's been reliable and efficient. For under eighty bucks, this microwave punches above its weight class.
