Our Experience

After meticulously researching numerous smart thermostats, I decided on the ecobee3 Lite based on its energy efficiency and compatibility with my existing smart home setup. Upon installation, I found the device's user interface intuitive and easy to navigate, a plus for a detail-oriented researcher like me.

I particularly appreciated the Away mode feature that adjusts temperature when nobody's home, detected by connected motion sensors or my smartphone's location. This has significantly improved our energy efficiency, making it a standout feature for me.

However, I noticed a slight delay in response time when adjusting temperatures manually via the app compared to using the physical controls on the device itself. While this is minor and hasn't deterred from its overall functionality, it was noticeable enough for me to mention. Overall, the ecobee3 Lite has proven to be a solid investment, offering seamless integration with my smart home ecosystem and tangible energy savings.
