Our Experience

We go through tools quickly in our household; between DIY projects and fixing up old furniture, they take a beating. So when I spotted this WEN 6528 hand planer on sale, I thought, "Why not?" After three weeks of usage, here's my take.

I really appreciate the smooth depth adjustment dial. It's made sanding down those uneven edges a breeze - no more fiddling with knobs mid-project. My daughter's old dresser, once wobbly and worn, is now smooth as butter thanks to this little guy.

My only minor gripe? The dust bag fills up quicker than I'd like. Considering how much wood we've gone through, it could stand to be a bit bigger. Other than that, it's been a solid performer at an unbeatable price.
