DeWalt DW680K Heavy-Duty 3-1/4" Planer Kit with 3/32" Depth of Cut

For the price, this DeWalt DW680K is impressive - a solid piece of kit that's held its own in my small workshop for two weeks now. The variable speed control has been a real game-changer; it's allowed me to work with varying types of wood without causing snipe or kickback. I've particularly enjoyed the 3/32" depth of cut, it's precise enough for most DIY projects while still being able to handle larger stock.

One minor critique though - the dust collection could be better. It's manageable, but if you're working with thicker stocks frequently, expect to clean out the chute more often than not. Overall though, at this price point, the DW680K offers fantastic value for money and is a reliable addition to any woodworker's toolset.
