I was skeptical at first when I saw the price of this Filtrete air filter - it seemed quite expensive compared to other brands. However, my allergies were getting worse, so I decided to give it a try.

After using it for almost a month, I can honestly say that it made a noticeable difference in our home's air quality. It captures more particles than the cheaper filters I've used before - you can actually see the dust and pet hair on the filter when you remove it. I was impressed by how well it captured larger particles like pollen and dust.

That being said, it might not be ideal for those with severe allergies or respiratory issues, as it's only a MERV 5. It could also be slightly thicker than other filters I've used, so make sure to measure before installing it in your furnace. Overall though, despite its price tag, this Filtrete filter delivered on its promises and has become my go-to for our home's air filtration needs.
