Compared to pricier options, the BLACK+DECKER RC516 was a pleasant surprise. For just under $32, I got a rice cooker that does exactly what it's supposed to do. The 16-cup capacity is perfect for my family of four – we had no leftovers going bad after each meal.

I particularly liked how the non-stick pot and steaming basket are removable. Cleaning up was a breeze, taking only minutes instead of soaking the whole unit.

However, there's one minor critique: the lid could be slightly heavier to avoid accidentally knocking it off while carrying the cooker around. But overall, for the price, this rice cooker is a steal. It's been a solid addition to my kitchen countertop, providing great value for money spent.
