Look, I'll be honest, my TV was sitting around collecting dust because I couldn't find time to set up all those apps and figure out where everything was. So, when I saw this Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select, I thought it'd simplify things. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and it's made a real difference. Plugging it in was as easy as promised, and connecting to Wi-Fi took seconds. No fuss there. The interface is clean too - all my favorite streaming apps are right there, no digging around menus. It's helped me make the most of my subscription services. Two things I really love about this stick? This device, with VegaOS manages to do away with most of the quirks, but also takes away some of the reason why I buy FireTV devices in the first place.Hardware:I'll get this out of the way quickly, since it's basically unchanged and is perhaps the least-impactful aspect of any Fire TV device. If you have a 4K TV, you need to get this now! This thing gives you movie quality with 4K and Dolby Atmos—no more watching shows looking blurry! The Good Stuff:Alexa is your assistant: You talk to the remote, and it listens. Great device with smooth performance and a clean interface. Limited apps at the moment and sold only in the US, but still a promising step toward escaping the Google ecosystem.A bit hard to develop app for in Windows ecosystem under WSL Linux...
