Our Experience
After using this Xodus Innovations LED window candle for a few weeks, I've found it to be an excellent hands-free addition to my home's ambiance. The dusk-to-dawn sensor is brilliant; it turns on reliably at sunset and off again at dawn, eliminating the need for manual switching. The orange flicker flame effect is surprisingly realistic, casting a warm glow through my window even from across the room.
However, one minor critique would be that the batteries didn't last quite as long as I'd hoped. After about three weeks of continuous use, they began to dim noticeably. That said, it's still a worthy investment for its convenience and aesthetic appeal, and replacing the batteries was a quick fix. Overall, a practical purchase that's made my evenings cozier with minimal effort on my part.

These candles are electrically efficient. I installed two AA batteries (Amazon Basics brand) in each candle on December 5th 2024, and as of this writing, February 6, 2025, they are still working at night as intended! I highly recommend these candles. We got these on Dec 10th and installed them in our house and a tiny river house we're building. The color of the LEDs is a nice yellow and just enough "flicker" to look fairly real. They worked perfectly throughout the holiday season in both houses. The candles have a small electric eye, less than 1/8" large, and can be turned in the base to face out a window. In our tiny house, all the candles would come on within 1-2 minutes of each other a little before dusk.
These are incredibly wonderful. They're so light weight, but it doesn't take away from the quality at all. The build is fantastic, lightweight yet so sturdy, and I love how it has the sensor to turn on and off on it's own. Best battery operated candles I’ve ever purchased. I paid much more in the past for a few different versions of battery operated candles, and the bulbs themselves would go or it would just stop functioning. They were horrible. These are the best I’ve ever come across. It’s not even completely dark outside and you can see the candles brightly glowing in the windows here.
