I was skeptical at first about the VIVOHOME R1234yf refrigerant recovery machine. I mean, it's not often you find such affordable options in professional-grade tools. But after using it for nearly a month, I've been pleasantly surprised.

The thing that really stood out to me was how quiet this unit is. Even when it's running at full tilt, it's barely louder than my shop vacuum. That's a big plus when you're working on cars in a residential area.

However, one minor critique would be the hose connectors. They feel a bit flimsy compared to the rest of the machine. I've had no issues with leaks or anything like that, but they do feel like they could benefit from being a tad more robust.

All in all, though, for the price and performance, this VIVOHOME unit has been a solid addition to my garage. It's not replacing my big industrial recovery system anytime soon, but it's perfect for small jobs and mobile use.
