I was skeptical at first about this tiny ultrasonic cleaner. Could something so small and affordable really clean my night guards as well as a thorough brushing? Well, after a week of use, I'm pleasantly surprised. My retainers emerged from each cleaning cycle sparkling like new, with no visible plaque or residue. The 45kHz frequency seems to do the trick. However, the device is quite loud - it sounds like an electric toothbrush on steroids! It's not uncomfortable, but it might be too noisy for late-night cleanings if you're sharing a room. Overall, though, this little machine has exceeded my expectations and saved me time and effort in keeping my retainers pristine.
