Upgraded from my old, stock antenna to this Uniden BATG0469001 and what a difference it made! I've been using it with my BC346XT for almost a month now, and the improvement in reception is noticeable right off the bat. It's like going from standard def to HDTV - signals are clearer, and I'm picking up more frequencies than before.
The build quality feels sturdy too, which was a pleasant surprise given its price tag. It looks good on my scanner, giving it a more professional appearance.
However, one minor critique is that the mounting bracket could be designed better. While it's not a deal-breaker, I sometimes struggle to line up the screw holes perfectly when installing or removing it. But hey, for $12.99, you can't really complain. This antenna has been a great upgrade and I'm happy with my purchase!
