After meticulously researching various ballet flats, I opted for Trary's Mary Jane style in black. Initially drawn to their classic design and positive reviews, my three-week test proved them worthy of their high rating.

Firstly, the leather uppers are soft yet durable, with a subtle sheen that adds a touch of elegance. The ankle straps provide excellent support, preventing slippage even during long walks – a feature I appreciated while exploring downtown on weekends. The cork footbed, though thin, offers sufficient cushioning, making these flats comfortable for prolonged wear.

However, one minor observation was the slight squeak the leather soles emitted when worn on certain surfaces, particularly vinyl or linoleum floors. While not audible outdoors or on carpets, it was noticeable during indoor activities like yoga classes, which might bother some users. Overall, though, Trary's Mary Jane ballet flats delivered on comfort and style, making them a practical addition to my wardrobe.
