The price made me hesitate, but my curiosity about this screenless audio player kept me from passing it up. I've been using the Toniebox 1 for almost a month now, and while my initial skepticism persists about its $80 price tag for what seems like a simple product, there's no denying that it's become a hit with my young daughter.

What I really appreciate is the simplicity of use. My daughter can easily swap out Tonies (the stories are stored in these cute characters) without any adult intervention, which has freed up some of my time while also fostering her independence. However, I must admit, the volume level seems a tad low compared to our other toys, especially when used with headphones - a minor critique that could potentially be addressed with an included volume booster.

All in all, despite its premium price point, the Toniebox has become a welcome addition to our toy collection, offering hours of fun, imaginative play.
