These make the perfect lighting and ambiance. We have a large, covered deck and I placed several of these lights on the deck railing. They are the best lighting ever for that purpose. I also put them in my flower beds. In the front yard they illuminate the walkway perfectly without being harsh. They look great in a big potted plant too. There are so many uses for these lights. And they’re waterproof! The cracked glass makes a beautiful pattern on the ceiling. I suggest you buy more than 1 box.
I have had these little solar lights on my patio for more than a year and they still glow daily rain or shine. I only bring them in once the snow starts and they have held up really well. I think they would make a wonderful gift idea for someone who likes spending time outside or enjoying a patio. They work really well and are still very bright after a year. I can't say how long they last into the night but I know it's at least past 2am. Since they are solar, you don't have to fuss with them.
