Skechers Men's D'Lux Walker Luxir Food Service Shoe

Our Experience

I was skeptical at first; these Skechers looked too casual for my taste, and I wasn't sure they'd hold up in my busy kitchen job. But after wearing them for nearly a month now, I've been pleasantly surprised.

What I liked most is how comfortable they are right out of the box. No breaking-in period needed here – my feet felt at home from day one. The cushioning is excellent; it's like walking on clouds even when you're on your feet for 12-hour shifts.

My minor critique? The traction could be better on slippery surfaces. I'm careful around our greasy kitchen floors, but I've had a couple close calls where my shoes felt less grippy than I'd have liked. That being said, they're still far comfier and more supportive than any other kitchen shoe I've worn.

All in all, these Skechers are now my go-to work shoes. They're stylish enough to wear off-duty too, so it's a win-win. My only regret is not buying them sooner!
