I spent hours comparing options before settling on the Silonn Nugget Ice Maker. It promised 33 lbs of chewable ice daily, which seemed perfect for my family's needs. I've been testing it for a week now.

First impressions? The machine is compact and stylish enough to sit on my countertop without looking out of place. It produces soft, bite-sized nuggets that remind me of the ones from Sonic Drive-In. They're great for blending drinks or enjoying as is – a plus for my ice-loving kids.



However, I noticed that the machine runs quite loudly compared to others in its class. It's not disturbing during daytime use but might disrupt nighttime peace if you have it running while everyone's asleep. I've started scheduling my ice-making for daytime hours now.



Overall, I'm pleased with the Silonn. It delivers on its promises and has become a welcome addition to our kitchen appliances. The noise issue is minor considering the volume of ice produced and the satisfying chew of those nuggets.
