Compared to pricier options, the Scanpan Classic chef pan offers great bang for your buck at just under $180. It's not perfect, but for the price, it sure comes close. I've been using it daily for about two weeks now and I'm really pleased with its performance.

What I love most is how evenly it heats. I can confidently cook delicate foods like eggs without worrying about hot spots. The stainless steel lid fits perfectly, trapping heat and moisture just right. Plus, it's dishwasher safe, which makes cleanup a breeze.

My only minor critique? The non-stick surface isn't quite as durable as some higher-end pans I've used. After two weeks of almost daily use, there are a few small scratches.
