After reading countless reviews and comparing numerous wired doorbell options, I settled on the Ring Wired Doorbell Plus. Installation was straightforward, taking me about 20 minutes to replace my old doorbell. The 2K HD video quality is impressive; even in low light, facial details are crystal clear, making it perfect for identifying visitors or package thieves.

One aspect I appreciated was the wide-angle lens (155° horizontal, 90° vertical). It captures a broader view of my front porch, ensuring I can see any activity along the sides. However, I noticed that while motion detection worked well during the day, it struggled slightly at night, occasionally picking up false positives from passing cars' headlights.

Overall, the Ring Wired Doorbell Plus has significantly enhanced my home's security and convenience with its high-quality video and responsive two-way talk feature. The minor issue with motion detection at night is something Ring might address in future firmware updates.
