Our Experience

After using this Reliance Controls switch kit for a few weeks during my basement renovation, I found it to be a solid performer. Setting it up was straightforward even for someone like me who's not an electrician – the instructions were clear and the included hardware made installation a breeze.

What I particularly liked was how quickly and smoothly my 7kW generator kicked in during our recent power outage. The transfer switch engaged seamlessly, keeping my critical circuits (fridge, lights, router) running without a hiccup.

However, one minor gripe is the lack of a built-in diagnostic screen or indicators to confirm correct wiring.
