My friend's dog, Max, has been thriving on Purina Pro Plan, so when it was time to switch my new puppy, Charlie, to dry food, I figured why not give it a try. I chose the Small Breed Beef and Rice formula because Charlie's still tiny, and he needs that extra nutrition for growth.

I've been using it for almost a month now, and I'm really happy with how Charlie's taken to it. He wolfs down his meals in record time, which is great – he's not a fussy eater like my last dog!

One thing I particularly appreciate is the size of the kibble pieces. They're small enough for little Charlie to manage, yet still substantial enough that I feel like he's getting his fill. It's made mealtime less messy too, with fewer stray pieces scattered around.

However, there's one minor thing I've noticed. The smell can be quite strong when you open the bag, especially on hot days. But once it's in Charlie's bowl and mixed with a bit of water, he doesn't seem to mind at all. He's just eager to get eating! Overall, it's been a great choice for us so far.
