Our Experience

After reading countless reviews and comparing various pet carriers, I decided to test the MidWest Homes Spree Travel Carrier for my anxious rescue cat, Luna. The carrier arrived promptly and was well-packaged. Initial assembly took around 10 minutes, with no tools required; a pleasant surprise.

Over three weeks of daily use, Luna seemed comfortable in the hard-sided plastic shell, which provided excellent ventilation through its numerous holes. My favorite feature was the locking mechanism that kept the door securely closed during transit, even when Luna threw herself against it. The carrier's lightweight yet sturdy construction also impressed me; it's easy to carry with one hand while holding my cat leash.

However, I noticed a minor critique after extended use: the plastic tray insert could be deeper for better waste containment, especially on long journeys. Currently, it requires frequent cleaning due to Luna's prolific litter habits. Despite this minor issue, I found the MidWest Homes Spree Travel Carrier to be a reliable and durable option that has greatly reduced Luna's travel-related anxiety.
