Our Experience

After reading countless reviews and comparing various under-cabinet lighting options, I settled on the MCGOR 14.7-inch lights due to their rechargeable feature and motion sensor functionality. Upon arrival, the build quality seemed standard but sturdy enough for my needs.

Installation was a breeze; the adhesive strips were strong yet removable without damaging paint. The motion sensor worked as advertised, turning on automatically when I entered the kitchen and off after 15 seconds of inactivity - perfect for those late-night snacks.

I appreciated the five-level dimming feature, allowing me to adjust brightness based on task or mood. However, while the rechargeable aspect is convenient, it did take longer than expected to fully charge (about 4 hours). Nonetheless, they've held their charge well over three weeks with daily use.

My minor critique would be that the motion sensor's range could be broader; it doesn't cover my entire kitchen island, requiring me to wave my hand slightly for activation. Overall though, these lights have been a worthwhile investment in improving both functionality and ambiance in my kitchen.
