Upgraded from my old bamboo block set, I must say, these McCook knives are a joy to use! The German stainless steel is sharp out of the box and stays that way thanks to the built-in sharpener – love it! My cutting prep time has halved since switching.

Only minor gripe is the knife holder could be more secure; sometimes, a knife slips out when I'm grabbing another one. But hey, for $70, you can't beat this set's quality and convenience. I'm impressed!
