Our Experience

Okay so I really like this Makita planer! I've been using it for a couple weeks now on various wood projects around the house and it's just a joy to work with. The power is impressive - it planes down 3/4" stock in one pass, which is perfect for my furniture-making hobby.

One thing I particularly love is how easy it is to adjust the depth of cut. The knob on top is smooth and precise, making it a breeze to dial in just the right setting. And no more fussing with screws or Allen wrenches!

As for critiques, my only minor observation would be that the dust collection could be better. It's not terrible, but I find myself having to clean out the planer body more often than I'd like. All in all though, this Makita is a fantastic tool and has quickly become one of my favorites!
