Not gonna lie, I almost didn't buy this battery base for my Echo Dot. $40 seemed steep just to power it wirelessly, especially since I was already plugged into an outlet most of the time. But curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to give it a shot.

After using it for nearly a month now, I'm glad I did. The base charges my Echo Dot quickly and keeps it powered for hours - even when moving it around the house. My favorite feature is how it automatically turns off when not in use, preserving battery life. It's made a world of difference in making my Echo Dot truly portable.

My one critique? The LED charging indicator is too dim to be useful unless you're looking directly at it. But that's a minor inconvenience considering the convenience this little gadget provides. All in all, if you want wireless freedom for your Echo Dot, this battery base delivers - despite the price tag.
