Not gonna lie, I almost didn't buy this Ko-Star USB microphone. It was cheap, and I thought there's no way it could compete with my old, expensive condenser mic. But I needed a portable solution for gaming on-the-go, so I decided to give it a try.

After two weeks of testing, I'm pleasantly surprised. The sound quality is actually quite good for its price. It picks up my voice clearly and doesn't amplify background noise too much - perfect for gaming chats. I especially liked how the volume control knob is smooth and easy to adjust on-the-fly.



However, there's a minor annoyance: the mic's flexible stand can be a bit wobbly sometimes. It's not a deal-breaker, but it can cause the microphone to sway if you brush against your desk while gaming.



Overall, for $32.99, this Ko-Star mic is a steal. It won't replace my studio condenser, but it's an excellent budget option when I'm gaming on my laptop or streaming from my bedroom.
