"I finally decided to try this Kaytee Ultimate Birder's Blend after my regular seed mix seemed to attract mostly squirrels and not many birds. I was pleasantly surprised when within just a few days of hanging up my new feeder filled with this blend, I started seeing cardinals and finches flocking to it. The vibrant colors of the safflower seeds really stood out against the snow, making me feel like I had my own little wild bird sanctuary in my backyard!
My one critique would be that while it's great for attracting a variety of birds, some seed shells did accumulate at the bottom of my hopper feeder. It wasn't a big deal as they were easy to clean out, but it's something to keep an eye on if you prefer low-maintenance feeding."

I am about to order this for the 15th time! I live in Las Vegas and unfortunately there is not alot of resources for our birds here in the winter months. This seed has been a lifesaver for my little friends in the back yard. It is a NO WASTE seed and does not have sunflower seeds in the shell! This means that there are no black seed shell droppings all over the place. Also I have noticed that there are NO sunflower plants popping up all over the place because any excess seed that drops is eaten
