My friend recommended this Kasa Smart Plug Ultra Mini after I'd been wanting to dip my toes into smart home tech. I finally bit the bullet at $13.99 and it was super easy to set up - just plugged it in, downloaded the app, and boom! My lamp was now controllable from my phone or even with voice commands via Alexa. The size is tiny too, barely noticeable behind other plugs.

One thing I love is how it's Energy Monitoring feature gives me insight into how much power my devices use - eye-opening stuff!

My only minor gripe? The app could be a tad more intuitive for first-time users like me. But overall, this smart plug has been a great entry point into smart home living without breaking the bank.
