Not gonna lie, I almost didn't buy this karaoke machine. The price seemed too good to be true, and I was sure it'd sound like a cheap toy. But my kid wanted it for her birthday, so I took the plunge.

First off, let me say, the sound is surprisingly clear. It's not hi-fi quality, but it's more than adequate for some at-home karaoke fun. The speaker gets plenty loud without distorting too much, and the microphones pick up our voices well. I was impressed.

The only slight downside is that the lights are a bit too dim to create a real disco effect in a brightly lit room. But hey, my kid loves them anyway, and they're perfect for her late-night sing-offs with her stuffed animals. All in all, this little machine has been a hit. It's durable, easy to use, and it gets the job done. My initial doubts were unfounded, and I'm glad we bought it.
