The specs caught my attention because Kalour's 72-count colored pencils claimed a soft core for better blending. As a detail-oriented researcher, I wanted to test this, so I bought these pencils and spent two weeks exploring their capabilities.

Firstly, I appreciated the wide range of colors. The set includes vibrant hues and subtle shades, allowing for extensive color choices when working on intricate designs or landscapes. The soft core indeed proved useful while blending; it provided a smooth, even coverage without breaking easily.

However, one minor critique is that the lighter colors are quite soft, which can lead to heavy handing causing them to break more quickly than their darker counterparts. But considering their price point and overall quality, this was a negligible issue for me.
