I wasn't expecting much at this price point, but the Jaz Innovations Perfect Pie Crust Weight Chain has been a pleasant surprise. I'm glad I gave it a chance. It's heavy duty enough to keep my pie crusts from bubbling over in the oven, and I especially like how the weights are evenly distributed along the chain - no more worrying about hot spots burning my pastry.

However, one minor critique is that while the weights themselves are stainless steel, the chain feels a bit lightweight. It's not an issue for me since it still gets the job done, but if you're looking for something heavier duty, this might not be your top pick. All in all, though, for under $13, this pie crust weight set is great bang for your buck.
