I was skeptical at first about this Japanese chef knife, given its price point and overwhelmingly positive reviews seemed too good to be true. I'm glad I gave it a chance though, as it's proven itself quite capable in my kitchen over the past three weeks.

The blade is incredibly sharp out of the box and maintains its edge impressively well; I've only had to sharpen it once during this period. My favorite aspect has been the knife's ability to slice through vegetables with ease, making prep work less time-consuming than before. However, while the design feels comfortable in my hand, I find the balance slightly off for a heavier blade like mine. This minor critique hasn't deterred me from reaching for it daily though, and I'm now considering purchasing another Imarku knife to replace my worn-out ones.
