Our Experience

As someone who loves to cook but isn't willing to break the bank on kitchen tools, I was pleasantly surprised by the HOSHANHO Chef's Knife. Compared to pricier options, this knife is an absolute steal at just $65. The Japanese high carbon steel blade is incredibly sharp out of the box and maintained its edge well even after chopping through a mountain of vegetables for my homemade salsa.

I particularly loved how comfortable the handle was in my hand. It's a bit heavier than other knives I've used, but that weight made it feel robust and sturdy while cutting.

My only minor critique is that the knife arrived with some rust spots on the blade, which seemed unnecessary given its protective packaging. A quick wipe down with oil fixed the issue though. Overall, for the price, this knife offers excellent value and has become my new go-to in the kitchen.
