Compared to pricier options I've used before, the HOSHANHO Damascus Santoku Knife is an absolute steal at just under fifty bucks. The blade's edge retention is impressive; even after chopping through three weeks' worth of veggies and proteins, it still felt sharp enough to shave hairs off my arm.

I particularly appreciated the full tang design, which made it feel sturdy and balanced in my hand. However, I found the handle's wooden bolster a tad too wide; while it didn't hinder grip, it did make washing by hand slightly more challenging. Overall though, for the price, this knife offers exceptional value and has become my go-to for most kitchen tasks.
